The Newtraid Forum is now up and running again. This forum enables anybody to ask questions, give answers, make suggestions, criticise, compliment or express opinions about Newtraid and related issues. Open to any visitor but you have to register to post to the Boards. Please visit, we want it used!!
Up until recently, if you wanted help, Newtraid asked for details of your organisation and confirmation that it could not afford commercial consultancy, but now if you have a question that can be answered in the forum, just ask and you should get an answer - no problem! You can still request help via email or by using the request form for more complex and confidential questions but it might be a good idea to try the forum first.
Forum Objectives
Key objectives of providing the Forum are:-
- It will give anybody access to the knowledge, experience and skills of all the visitors who are willing to respond.
- Allow the Newtraid community to interact in a more direct and immediate way.
- Registered forum members will be able to send secure Personal Messages to each other without using their own email systems.
- The Forum should supplement but not replace the "Client/Volunteer" relationship.
Forum Boards
As a start the subjects of the Forum Boards are :-
- Forum News - Introduction to the Forum
- General discussion about Newtraid. Feel free to talk about anything and everything concerning Newtraid or other development issues.
- Support requests. You can post requests for support and help here - and give answers and advice.
As the Forum develops we will add other boards for specific subjects. We will also be able to set up "private" boards, which can only be seen and posted to by a defined group of users.
