Volunteering as a "Virtual Consultant" is one way you can use your skills to the benefit of others who find themselves in a "Catch 22" situation, requiring support to develop their enterprise but not being able to pay for any form of consultancy?

The difficulties encountered by some when the challenge and interest of work is removed on retirement are frequently highlighted in the media. In the Western world there is much discussion about so called ageism in relation to employment and the resulting waste of talent and energy. We want to tap into this vast pool of experience and knowledge which exists.

The purpose of this online meeting place for Volunteer Consultants and Clients is to explain the ideas behind Newtraid© and how to volunteer as a "Virtual Consultant" and request support.. Whatever your experience, provided it is based on sound practical knowledge and skills, someone, somewhere could benefit from your input. Should it become evident that a project could be commercially viable or the client can afford normal commercial consulting rates the consultant can enter into an independent contract with the client. In this case Newtraid© involvement would cease but a donation from resulting fees would be expected to support further work by Newtraid©
Offer your skills and experience! We are looking for a variety of volunteers from almost all technical, managerial or manual skills and experience background. Newtraid© works on a voluntary basis and consultants give their time freely, and help is directed at those organisations that cannot afford to hire consultants at normal commercial rates, and support less developed communities by providing employment, improving social, health and environmental provision.
The offer of support is given without regard to national boundaries, race or creed.
Volunteers are typically experienced professionals in technical elements of a wide range of disciplines. Many have experience in working in developing countries and the newly emergent countries of Eastern Europe, but it's almost certain that whatever your experience and knowledge, someone, somewhere needs your input. We are always looking for new volunteers to help to widen the scope of the support Newtraid© can offer
